We’ve been watching for two days, and we’ve been receiving regular reminder messages, such as reproaches.

We are reminded that it is absolutely necessary to consider watching SAKURA DAYORI’s new video clip, as if it were the fault of the entire world that the video in question had not reached a million views in 48 hours as those who sent us these reminder messages had advocated.

There are even some who yell at you (kindly) in the comments of the Japanese YouTube channel because there are not enough views, but who have put the entire song online on their channel, on the pretext that it was a fan’s effort to translate the song into several languages.

It probably starts with good intentions… and the worst part is that this effort probably took a lot of time and energy from the person in question.

She promised that she would remove this content “once the official channel puts online the captions to the new song”.

Sweetie, you can still dream, we’ve been waiting for the Hanamichi captions for a year!
Even the description to promote the sale of CDs and DVDs at the time was never translated even into English, our purchase intentions were probably not welcome.

 

Why is it always the same story?

Because it always pisses us off so much.

Because “« spare the rod and spoil the child » and pointing fingers at simple little things that are easy to correct should not be considered negative criticism but a wish for success.

Because:

  • SONG FOR A DREAMER (13.09.2022) with sub-titles: 250.000 views
  • HANAMICHI (14.03.2023) without sub-titles: only 115.000 views

 

In fact, try to find that last song on the channel.
We’ve got to look for it…
It was on the home page until a few days ago and is now only lost in a playlist!

Also look for Super Fire, 100% “house” composition in Japanese (and when we say 100% “house” you mean fewer royalties to share with the “outside”).
We couldn’t find it at all!

In fact, we can find only three existing playlists, one of which is complete with content from other Japanese artists, people known, but whose only link to Kim Hyun Joong is that of having been part of the same soundtrack in a movie.

Then why are we being asked to make efforts?
A gift of time and attention to someone or something can’t always be one-way.

Even though we understood well the management choice made of the two Korean and Japanese channels, each one have different content, why songs in Japanese are not offered on the Korean channel, why are Korean songs not offered on the Japanese channel?
Why not give yourself a chance to see the content watched by more Youtube users?

Would it be a different artist on each of the two channels?

We were promised the redesign of the Korean Youtube channel for soon, perhaps the Japanese channel is also planned  at the same time.

We have a very strong expectation when the result comes out, and we would very much like to have pleasant surprises that would allow us to revise our point of view and make us want to visit the Japanese channel more often.
