Moving forward and rejoicing.

To have the feeling of moving forward, even if it’s in a very slight or almost imperceptible way.

When we tend to want everything straight away, things can seem to lack inertia, whereas it’s just a question of consistency, and that’s something we only learn over time.

Having reasons to be happy for others instead of envying them or only looking at our personal situation to constantly complain.

This week we’ve had the feeling of moving forward proudly with the artist we’re supporting, while at the same time having reasons to rejoice for someone other than our own little person.

To be more precise, to accept, without jealousy or grumbling, the appearance of a new concert somewhere other than close to your home without wanting to ask “what about us?
(What do have to say those who’ve never had a concert in their own neighbourhood ?)

Temporarily putting our desires and demands of all kinds on hold may seem strangely like giving up on our dreams, but it’s not giving up, it’s just allowing us from time to time to be less demanding of ourselves and therefore more tolerant of others.

We’re so proud of ourselves for thinking such positive thoughts!

(😈 Not sure it will last long)

🎸On 17 February  – YOUR VALENTINE FESTIVAL in MONGOLIA

A few days ago, we wondered whether China or Mongolia would have the honour of a Kim Hyun Joong performance first.
Well, it’s Mongolia that has won, and we think it’s a good compromise half-way between China and Russia.

Kim Hyun Joong will be taking part with other big names in a festival called YOUR VALENTINE FESTIVAL.

Contrary to what the name might suggest, this event will not take place on 14 February, Valentine’s Day, but three days after, on 17/02/2024.

We hope that the 5,000 seats in the sports complex where the event will be held will sell out, and for that they’ve pulled out all the stops by inviting a fine list of artists :

.

BLOO – Rap & Hip Hop – Korean
Played at La Cigale in Paris and in Belgium in May last year.
Personal message for Mr Bloo: Please could you pass on a short message to Mr Hyun Joong?
As you will have noticed  everything is going well here. We are not biting any artists in Europe.
Could you explain this to him?

.

MC – SNIPER – Between Rap and tradition -Korean
Active denouncer of social injustice.
If you’re a series fan, you’ve probably already heard of him; he sang a large number of OSTs, including the soundtrack to:  Windstruck OST – BK Love

.

CHOIJOO – Very complete artist -Mongol (rock, jazz, traditional music, composition…)
Is also a member of the Mongolian group A-SOUND, who were initially mentioned in the list of Festival participants by a national media but were not confirmed, which is pitty because we really like them => FOREVER

Choijoo is likely to be performing solo at the festival, so we’ll have a chance to see him in concert if we’re lucky enough to find an extract of his performance.

VANDEBO – Mongolian group made up of two members Vande and Ebo
+
GANGBAY- Hip Hop group also from Mongolia

Sorry, we’re not too familiar with them.
We’ll leave it to you to discover them

🎸On 16 & 17 march – SYMPHONIC CONCERT INTO THE LIGHT – TOKYO

The dates have been confirmed and the pre-registration and ticket purchase procedure for members of the Japanese fanclub has begun.

Two different prices and tickets drawn at random, to avoid everyone fighting to buy the best-placed seats, this leaves a chance to the Luck but it’s not necessarily to everyone’s taste.

Don’t fight, girls.
Believe us, even a small seat next to the toilet would suit us fine if we were lucky enough to see a concert here.

On that subject….
Asking to teleport Gemini here already seems like an insurmountable task, so asking to have an entire orchestra travel here will seem like an extra-planetary request.

But did you know that in France we have suitable halls and wonderful orchestras that would be delighted to accompany an equally wonderful Korean artist if one day he were to bring his maestro and his new symphony here?

Can you imagine how original it would be to see a half-symphonic, half-psychedelic Korean concert here?
It would be a change from what we’ve already  déjà vu.

(😈 we warned you that it wouldn’t last long…)

Enjoy your weekend!
