We are a little disappointed lately.

Or maybe we’re still having a fit of jealousy we don’t quite know …

Why?

You already know that Kim Hyun Joong opened a channel at BILIBILI a few months ago , through which he broadcasts unpublished videos, superbly shot, aimed at Chinese admirers but to which the rest of the world does not have access, unless the rest of the world speaks Chinese which is not yet the case.

Fortunately, recently we have been offered the beautiful videos of “Healing Room” to make us forget our resentment.

You also know that Kim Hyun Joong has official accounts at Weibo , at Tik Tok , and probably you still know that he broadcasts content at  V.KUAISHOU , at XHSLINK.com   and at V.DOUYIN, the big sister of Tik Tok that the Chinese , for their own reasons, do not want to call Tik Tok in their own country!

Surely the same reasons that make them want to no longer  broadcast ” programs that develop idolatry ” such as TV talent show, or images of ” effeminatemen or those of ” vulgar influencers ” in order to ” establish criteria for correct beauty ” .

But this is only a side note and we are not play politics here …
Finally, what is important is that the lucky Chinese users can see twice or even triple Kim Hyun Joong’s content.

So far so good, Kim Hyun Joong wants to expand his audience and make sure everyone is happy. Uses and customs are not the same in all continents and its teams surely make a lot of efforts to adapt to the taste of each country.

So why are we so disappointed?

Because we find it unfair that the content of these channels; most of the time the same content that we see on Youtube, Facebook or Instagram, have the honor and the privilege of having subtitles in their language, ON ALL VIDEOS , while the rest of the planet has to wait between 48 to 72 hours, two days to have a caption and understand what Kim Hyun Joong has been trying to tell us!

Okay, there are those for who just a smile from Kim Hyun Joong is enough, but we have already said it, when a man speaks to us we want understand what he is saying.

 

Why make us proudly  think that it is a privilege when we are offered a Live with captions after 10 days?

Why are we systematically forced to search for the translation of song lyrics?
(and being called copyright thieves by some …)

Why simple song titles aren’t translated into a universal language so that people who accidentally come to KHJ Youtube don’t have to wonder what the title of a song like Four Seasons , Righabout , Farewell or Upside-down  is ?

That could be the begining of an explanation for the fact that views  don’t  take off on some videos.

Since the album ” A Bell Of Blessing ” no music video has been translated (a part PRISM TIME), and it is inexplicable when we know that most of the subscribers have come to Kim Hyun Joong first for his music.

It is incomprehensible to note that content broadcast on channels where they only very painfully reach 10,000 views per content, can be worthy of more attention than the same content broadcast on a Youtube channel where a video can reach 50,000 visits in 24 hours.

Why?

We hope that in the next season of Music in Korea one will think about writing the song titles, the location’s description and the song lyrics at least in English.

Is that too much to ask?

 

Well, we’ll leave you, we’ll sulk in our corner.

No, correct … we’re going to cry in our corner.

Because we are really very disappointed …
