This song was made when I was 15 years old. The play wasn’t bad, but I recorded it with love for my universe in the 4 track cassette recorder. As I took a train and looked at the scenery outside the window, I thought I could see the earth that is far away from the spaceship when I become an adult. Now I’m increasingly acknowledging that I can’t put the scenery of the universe in my two eyes, unless there is a massive change in life. The sensibility of a boy who dreamed of an unknown adventure when I first made this song is gone, but still in the song that loves and miss the universe
About this song
I first made this song when I was 15. The playing was crappy but I had the most fun recording the ideas in the tiny 4 track cassette recorder. It wasn’t just the music that was recorded then. The love and pure longing of the space and universe was captured there. As if we view the scenery outside the train window, I thought one day it might be possible to see the space with my own eyes. As I grew older and older, it’s unlikely for that to really happen. I am realizing that more and more, but my love and longing for space are still very much real. That boy is still in the song today.
