We’re a little pissed off here. There is something we do not understand at all and we are sorry if we “act like a bull in a china shop” and give our opinion without being asked .

Everyone has seen the glowing reports from the Korean press and TV about Kim Hyun Joong’s heroic act after he saves a man. But, why do Korean journalists keep talking to us about Kim Hyun Joong as if he had lived in the last century and telling us about his early days as “Boys Over Flowers actor” and “member of the SS501 group”?

Have they forgotten to live for 10 years?

Why is the Korean press on purpose to ignore all that Kim Hyun Joong has been able to accomplish as an actor and singer in all this years? Are they really unaware, or are they on purpose to ignore it?

Why have real journalists, those who are worthy of the name, left the field open to those involved in the scandalous tabloid press, too busy destroying a man’s reputation (and life)?

Can’t  they realize how much more interesting it would have been for their readers or viewers to talk about what Kim Hyun Joong has been able to accomplish in his career as an artist in recent years?

Why stay frozen in the past? Have they taken a time machine and  can’t get back to the present ?

Why do they deliberately ignore the work of an artist who has contributed to promote their country’s culture abroad?

It is sad to live in ignorance, but when you voluntarily choose to stay in this state it is even sadder.

Is there really no matter for an interesting press article?
How, after having exploited someone’s image for years and published hundreds of articles and magazine covers, can we completely remove that person from the audiovisual landscape?
Don’t talk to us about “fashion trends”, Kim Hyun Joong’s songs are timeless.

Did they bother to listen even one of his songs? If they did, how can they remain insensitive to the beauty of his words and his melodies? Did they not find anything there that could touch their embittered hearts?

Why is an artist forced to seek recognition on the other side of the planet? Near an audience that love’s him, dispite 90% does not understand a single word of the beautiful Korean language..

Gentlemen journalists, if you think your readers are only interested in gossip and scandal, it is an insult to their intelligence.
Can you please publish original and interesting articles to us ? Inform yourself instead of always relaying the pre-formatted information of a cold press release.
Do your damn job !
