For those who don’t know, Kim Hyun Joong is an unconditional fan of musician Kotaro Oshio.
Who is Kotaro Oshio?
A talented Japanese guitarist known for playing steel string acoustic guitar while others play nylon string guitar, also known for his mastery of tapping, or for his rare style of open tuning; this gives us the impression when he plays that he is being accompanied by other musicians when in fact he is playing alone.
Anyway, we saw Kim Hyun Joong with Kotaro Oshio during a concert in Japan, he proudly showed us as any fan can, his autographed guitar, and during the confinement the album autographed by the guitarist.

Kim Hyun Joong played the beautiful song Wind Song several times during his Japanese concerts and聽said in the past: “This song has made me stronger”.
We would love to hear him play this song again now that he is more and more comfortable with a guitar…

All this preamble to give you a great news and tell you that Oshio Kotaro invited Kim Hyun Joong to participate in his new album, and that the product of their collaboration will be presented to us on September 28, 2022, date of release of “My Guitar, My Life” 20th Anniversary.
When they met in 2020, Kim Hyun Joong made a proposal to Kotaro Oshio to play together whenever he wanted.
For Kim Hyun Joong, this was a dream come true.
The recordings were made at a distance due to the successive confinements.
