On July 12, Kim Hyun Joong posted a very moving video on his Youtube channel of himself walking around Seoul among fan-funded displays.

His video is accompanied by an equally moving message:

🔉 Thank you to all the HENECIAs who have been with us for so many incredible days, we dedicate our last dance to you.

“In the heart of the summer night, under the shining stars
I want to dance one last time with you.”

It has to be said that this poster campaign is particularly beautiful.

The images chosen are magnificent, with posters lined up by  dozen in the subway showing recent photos and teasers for the  concerts in Seoul.

The giant billboard on the façade of the Hyundai Department Store U-PLEX, showing a retrospective of his career, seems just as grandiose.

The campaign is made all the more special by the fact that it is offered by the “ONLY KIM  HYUN JOONG” (Hong Kong) Family, and we know that Kim Hyun Joong greatly appreciates the always highly original gifts he receives from this fan club, such as the green Svarowsky microphone he still uses today, or the bottle of vintage champagne he uncorked (and drank lukewarm from a paper🥴 cup) on his birthday in the covid year.

Maybe he does it discreetly the other times, but this is indeed the first time we’ve seen him strolling among fan-sponsored signs.

Even if it’s enough to make some people bored, Kim Hyun Joong’s aim in this video was to associate and thank all his Henecia in this message; it should therefore be taken in this sense. See the beauty of the gesture without entering into pointless polemical considerations.
