Because the expression “my sister” is here used as the expression “my brother”
Because any female presence in Kim Hyun Joong’s circle is often the subject of speculation, and placing this person where it should be, avoided curious or even derogatory comments about her.

well, is it a phenomenon in Korea only? I mean, I wouldn’t be jealous if oppa has any female friends or even girlfriend (I’d be happy for him). It is normal to have friends for everyone, whether male or female.
There’s a local artist in my city that’s been very popular since last year. Some haters keep spreading rumors that the artist is gay and that he has some “male friends”. However, no one cares. Does it matter if he is gay or not? who cares? All the fans still support him and love him so much; he is still very popular and got many year-end awards recently. Fans in most countries are more fair and rational these days.
