South Korea, which we are discovering belatedly, seems to us, seen from here, a country whose wealth comes from its people, and beyond the image of modernity often conveyed abroad, this people seems nostalgic to us, a little resigned (but not fatalistic), a little suspicious, secretive and not as accessible as it seems at first glance.

A people proud of its centuries of history, a people who must be discovered and deserved.

South Korea is not just a country of k-pop, “rose water” series or Koreans showing us videos all day long where they eat all kinds of food, appetizing it is true, but to which they seem give even more importance than us French, so proud of our gastronomy.

These stereotypical images which come to us so easily, hide another face of this country that we would like to share by inviting you today for two short walks.

First of all, we invite you to visit the website of Korean Cultural Center in Paris which is announcing online a magnificent exhibition entitled “Royal Palaces of Korea”.

Then, if you prefer more recent history, virtually visit Seoul and walk with the Koreans.
Seoul 4K Walker site takes you on a walk and uploads daily authentic life images of its inhabitants.
