It is a single fruit of the collaboration between Kim Hyun Joong and Fumiya Fujii, Japanese musician, actor and former singer of the group The Checkers ( OFFICIAL SITE FUMIYA FUJII)
On the occasion of the release of the single, additional performances will be held at Grand Cube Osaka on Saturday March 11 and Sunday March 12.
This will be the first work released this year 2023, commemorating the 12th year of Kim Hyun Joong’s debut alone in Japan.
“Hanaji”, is a song written by Kim Hyun Joong and Fumiya Fujii provided the lyrics.
This is Kim Hyun Joong’s first “Sakura Song” ( a SAKURA or SAKURA SONG is a traditional Japanese popular song)

Great news! Sometimes I come to think of Japan as a welcoming homeland for KHJ…
I hope that the South Korean society and media, now that many people from other cultures are coming to the country to live, will open up even more and leave behind restrictive and limiting social forms, such as collective isolationism that Kim Hyun Joong has experienced in his own country. He deserves a different treatment.
