After pondering for a while whether we should do it or not, yesterday, we posted Kim Hyun Joong’s live on Instagram.

Can showing an artist’s vulnerable moments be damaging to his image?

We don’t think so.

On the contrary, these moments of fragility that Kim Hyun Joong is not trying to hide and that he has chosen to share with us, confirm that no matter the level of stardom we’re in, we don’t live permanently in the glitz and glamour. Real life calls everyone to order from time to time.

We all have the tendency to dissect and scrutinize the mood and behavior of our favorite artists in each one of their appearances.

This is human, but by putting someone on a pedestal, we also put a lot of pressure on them, and in this case, Kim Hyun Joong doesn’t need any of this since, from the little that we have often perceived, he puts already enough pressure on himself.

We had no intention of having this Kim Hyun Joong’s short appearance translated, but we did it anyways. It had to be done.

Kim Hyun Joong simply wanted to share his sadness with us because Jacksal Restaurant, which has been in business for years and which he told us about in a recent episode of Music Healing Room, had to shut down.

As of right now, we don’t know if this is a permanent closure due to the lack of customers and, therefore, financial difficulties, or a simple temporary closure due to Covid restrictions (we opt for the first hypothesis).

Whichever the answer might be, this restaurant, a real institution and a rallying point for any Kim Hyun Joong’s fan who visited Seoul, has held firm so far and no one, its owners in the first place, wants to see it disappear.

We are sure that the necessary measures will be implemented to make this name last over time.

We will certainly be told more about this subject soon.

**-**

Since we are talking about special little moments that Kim Hyun Joong decides to share with us usually at the end of the day, we also want to talk about something that has been nagging us for a while.

Everyone who is a member of the official Korean fanclub knows that from time to time, Kim Hyun Joong takes time out on his evenings (even on his nights), to briefly go on chat or open and read some random letters that fans leave for him.

He also recently apologized for not being able to read them all, which we can understand.

But some people don’t seem to get it.

What we meant to say, and everyone obviously does what they want, is that we can admit the different stages of “fanitude” that some find themselves in, but leave several letters in the space of a few hours hoping having more of a chance that they are seen, is no longer called love but harassment!

Is everyone aware of the called EDIT button existence?

This is used to come back to a message if you want to modify or add something!

Guys, use it!
