On the 17th of this month, the “Your Valentine” concert by famous South Korean singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong and singers MC SNIPER and BLOO will take place at the Buyant-Uhaa sports complex for Valentine’s Day.
The concert is organized within the framework of cultural relations between Mongolia and Korea, and will feature Choijoo, Vandebo and Magnetbrain from Mongolia. This is the first artistic performance of “Evandis entertainment”, the general organizer of the concert.
The organization plans to bring stars of art and culture to the country every year to support winter tourism as a tradition.
John Ko, director of Evandis Entertainment, said: “As a Korean living in Mongolia, I’m very impressed by the opportunity to bring artists from my country here.
It was a difficult task to invite artists to Mongolia, but I’m happy that it has become a reality. Since this is the first performance within the framework of Mongolian and Korean culture, if it succeeds, we’ll be able to bring in other artists in the future.
I hope that through art, citizens of both countries will have the opportunity to better understand each other and share their feelings. So far, 5,000 tickets have been sold”, he declared.
Famous actor Kim Hyun Joong commented on his first visit to Mongolia: “This is my second day in Mongolia.
I heard it was very cold, but I didn’t feel cold.
I didn’t know Mongolia before.
Since last year, influential people have started to inform themselves by watching programs and content that travel.
As a result, I thought it was a place with beautiful nature and mostly rural areas, but when I arrived in Ulaanbaatar, my opinion changed.
I’m very grateful to the Minister of Tourism for receiving me.
I’m very impressed to be taking part in this concert and to be appearing on the same stage as Mongolian singers.
It’s not easy to perform abroad, especially with other artists. I’d like to express my gratitude to all those who have given me this opportunity.
Before I came to Mongolia, I heard that there was a big dog that catches wolves. If there’s a chance, I’d like to see what a dog that catches wolves looks like.
Rapper MC Sniper had this to say about his visit to Mongolia: “I thought about traveling to Mongolia with my family after watching videos of Koreans who have already traveled. So I’m happy to come here to play. If I get the chance, I plan to travel with my family next July.”
Organizers have mentioned that the concert is dedicated to Valentine’s Day, so the artists will be performing songs on the theme of love.
The show kicks off tomorrow at 6pm and will last around four hours. Organizers have therefore asked concert-goers to arrive early and take their seats after calculating the number of seats.
