We don’t really like internet polls where you have to vote for an artist. With our natural distrust we always wonder who can benefit from it, and our usual pessimism tells us “waste of time”. We can’t help it, we’ve learned to be suspicious of everything.  It’s a tactic like any other to not be disappointed.

In short, having received various solicitations, here we are anyway, clicking on links and voting for Kim Hyun Joong to be at the first place of a “competition” to name “The 25 Best K-Pop songs of 2020 chosen by fans”.  It was fun and it has to be said, we got caught up in the game.

And in the end he won!  Against who? Against the seven little guys goddamn it!
(It’s ridiculous, but why can’t we stop ourselves from thinking about the seven little dwarves’ fable ? Do you think that’s why they are seven?  Where is Snow White?   And who is the wicked witch?  Their producer? — we’re looking for troubles– )

So, we don’t know how Kim Hyun Joong got to the first place, but we suspect that some ladies had their alarm clocks ringing every quarter of an hour to vote day and night.

We also don’t know exactly what won the guy from KingChoice the organizer of the poll, but he is very surprised and still doesn’t understand how a “perfect stranger” could beat the newbies (be nice to him, it shows at least that he didn’t cheat with his counters…).

As he still doesn’t understand how the impossible happened, and in order to check if his counter doesn’t suffer from any malfunction, he has put a new poll back online (he must be a masochist),
