Almost on the eve of Kim Hyun Joong’s next show which will take place on June 3, exactly on May 27, it will be three months since the MY SUN Album was fully unveiled.

At the risk of repeating ourselves, we want to say that there is really strength in unity, and we find that when everyone is focused on one and the same objective it is much easier to achieve a goal, right? ?

Very often we don’t know how to organize our efforts together in a common interest, and yet we have one, don’t we?
An interest.
Common.

His name is Kim Hyun Joong.

 

While we already have a hard time most of the time knowing what day of the week it is, people are scattering themselves with overly complex, endless streaming lists, one for each day of the week…without letting the most of the time a link to facilitate listenings.

Everyone makes their own list.
In the end, we have the feeling that these lists will only be listened to by those who make them or by a very restricted circle always made up of the same people!

We’re supposed to listen to Kim Hyun Joong’s songs BETWEEN US?
Someone who really loves a singer really needs to be told when and what songs to listen to?

Looking at the score of the ” MY SUN ” video, we note with pleasure that we have finally decided to focus on a common goal, and that a video which in normal times has a lot of trouble reaching 300,000 views after ten months distribution (we have the example of those of Music in Korea 3), reached after two and a half months of broadcasting more than 500,000 views.

And what is even more pleasing is that the majority of comments left rarely include “hemispheric” claims.
(😈The type of comments that want us to believe that the oscillation of a Youtube counter is only due to the listening of a single continental area)

Perhaps we have also finally taken the measure of all the means necessary for the implementation of a music video?

Did we simply realize that those employed to shoot this one in particular were exceptional?

It’s not a “home-made” music video with a limited team like those of Music in Korea’s debut, which were already very beautiful.

For ” MY SUN” the big means were used because it is after all the main title of an album.

They put a larger technical team there,
They put actors and extras there,
They put a whole symphony orchestra there,

They certainly put so much hope in it…

 

 

 

In order not to remain with the feeling of finding ourselves at exactly the same stage of our reflections as three years ago (and having the feeling of often telling the same old story), could we, in a collective effort, try to double the number of views of this beautiful song, as a birthday present?

By listening to it where it was uploaded.
Where there is immediate recognition.
Where there is a (slightly) higher remuneration than on other platforms.

 

… and could we decrease the “longlisting” of “old” songs that we really like but whose rights will never fully return to the singer?

Do artists have to split their lifetime earnings with their former agencies or with their former producers?

Would you like to share your current salary with your former boss?

A million views may be a pittance if we compare with the scores of some “easy” videos that so quickly reach 10 times that total.

A million views will only amortize a tiny part of the expenses of such a production, but will represent a beginning of the work’s recognition of all the people who collaborated in this achievement.

Let’s listen to it because it’s a magnificent vocal performance.
Let’s listen to it because the artist laid bare his feelings there and he traveled a very long way to reach us.
