First thoughts seeing today’s video?
While we quietly watched footage shot in a tipi all winter, a whole production team was at work and imagining this season.
Location identification, logistics, stylists and above all someone, whose name we still cannot decipher, worked seriously and in a very inspired way on arrangements of old songs in order to deliver them to us as if they were news.
The decor of this 3rd episode, shot probably at the end of winter, is necessarily less colorful visually than the previous two, but even what for us could look like details, Gemini in black and Kim Hyun Joong with his red jacket for example, must have been fully imagined.
We are not going to be ecstatic yet on the way in which they have sublimated Mr. Hyun Joong here otherwise he will end up really believing that he is a beautiful man.
As for ‘ Your Story ‘ new release, we like it a lot, it’s a whole different song.
But, it seems to us, even more than on the two previous arrangements of Music in Korea 2, that the rocker who sleeps in Kim Hyun Joong is holding back so as not to launch into a more dynamic chorus.
Surely by dint of having sung these songs hundreds of times to a different rhythm.
A guitar solo which must have finished waking up the animals at the end of hibernation or causing an avalanche in this mountain.
A drummer / percussionist that we hope is still part of the group because it seems to us that during a previous episode of rehearsals he was replaced by someone else. Which would be a shame because he is very talented, and even if he seems to be the most discreet of the group and the one who is the least put forward, he has as always, so much class and a crazy charm.
Come on, we are going to listen to this version again so as to contribute, if we have understood everything correctly, to arriving at 700 trillion views on the official site.
