Let us wish a Happy New Year to the Koreans who are celebrating SEOLLAL today.

It is Korea’s most important holiday of the year, which marks the beginning of the Lunar New Year.
The date varies from year to year but always falls between January 21 and February 20.

Traditionally, they meet on this occasion with the family for 3 days (the day before, the day of Seollal and the next day)

They dress in their finest traditional costumes, Hanbok

They play with family  traditional games like Yutnori

It is mainly a family celebration and in each family is prepared the traditional New Year’s soup, the Tteokguk
