You know what ? We woke up exactly at 4 a.m., we didn’t do it on purpose, we didn’t intend to attend this Live show at the time it was broadcast and because we was convinced that we would not be able to connect again.

Since we were awake, we turned on an Ipad just in case, so as not to have any regrets, and… nocturnal miracle, we found ourselves in front of Mr. Hyun Joong dressed in a traditional costume  cooking us broth at dawn.

We said to ourselves: it’s not reasonable let’s continue to sleep , but impossible, we were too curious to know if he was going to end up dipping the sleeves of his traditional costume (Hanbok) in his soup, or even if the sleeves didn’t weren’t going to end up catching on fire.

It’s that we were worried about him you see (at least that’s the excuse we gave ourselves to keep watching)

Well, this time we didn’t have access to comments, but we managed to see the image and the sound and ultimately that’s the most important thing.

He then played short pieces of guitar for us, and, wonder of wonders, a tiny little snippet of beautiful music, which if we want to be chauvinistic, we will say that it was composed by Yepes to act as a soundtrack  from the French film “Jeux Interdits” (forbidden games)

He then sang parts of his songs including Oasis and we had the feeling that his English accent has improved since the recording of this title (in particular the pronunciation of “V” and “B”)

Lots of dialogues/monologues that we obviously didn’t understand but whose laughs and smiles we really appreciated.

Football sequence and some improvised foot checks later, he almost did a strip tease because his traditional XXXXL pants were bothering him. Too bad someone stopped him before! Killjoy !

He then gave us a perfect salutation/prostration (Sebae) in due form.

In short, the 1.3 K people who were able to connect were happy, including us, but we couldn’t help but wonder:

What could have happened in our lives that we find ourselves connected to the internet at 4 am, watching a Korean artist Live?

We still haven’t found the answer, and will surely still be tuned for the next episode.
