The man in the black cap provided first aid to the chef at this restaurant who had lost consciousness and collapsed. The chef regained consciousness and gradually resumed normal breathing, and an ambulance from 119 finally arrived at the restaurant. This man also helped the rescuers from 119 to move the chef and informed the rescuers about what had happened.
When the incident happened, the man was outside the restaurant and, having heard the screams of the staff, rushed forward.
“I don’t know any celebrities,” said the restaurant owner when he learned that the person providing first aid was Mr. Kim Hyun Joong, a member of the SS 501 group and actor in the drama ‘Boys over Flowers. It was later confirmed that it was singer Kim Hyun-joong.
According to restaurant officials, Kim visited the restaurant about two hours before that day, ate with a group of people and was waiting for a driver outside. He heard the screams of the restaurant staff and came home, seeing the chef collapsed in front of the counter, he gave him first aid.
The owner of the Japanese restaurant, Seung-cheol Jeon, said on a call from Jeju’s KBS channel: “The chef collapsed while I was momentarily absent. When I arrived at the restaurant, someone one had taken charge of the situation and was giving him first aid. ”
