Part 2 of the “Carnibang Talk Show” with Jung Gil as a guest.
Mr. Jung Gil always looks so gentle (and a little intimidated).
He tells us about his difficulties during the recording of 12 O’Clock.
He frankly admits that he was stressed and that he blamed himself, without daring to admit it, for not feeling sufficiently prepared to sing “Live”, while saying to himself “I have to do it at any cost “.
We learn that Kim Hyun Joong gave him advice before the recordingt of the final version, in particular by advising him to sing in a more calm way compared to the ‘maquette” received.
For having already gone through similar phases, Kim Hyun Joong gives him advice that only experience can give and we learn that despite years of experience, it always bores him when his songs do not appeal to people, but that you have to get used to, because ” this feeling will never disappear ” (words of a singer who has 16 years of experience!)
To help alleviate the feeling of dissatisfaction or incompleteness, Kim Hyun Joong has only one solution, to sing “Live” a hundred times, and he warns Jung Gil that even after that, he will not be free from this feeling until the day his album will be released, and he will then say to himself: Why did I worry so much about this song?
KHJ:
“When you doubt yourself you ruin everything”.
“Those who doubt themselves, don’t put all chances on their side; they only contribute to a bad start of their project”.
“If you are 100% confident in yourself you will probably sing more confidently.
To sing 12 O’Clock better you must first get rid of all your doubts”
JGL – : Thanks for the advices, they mean a lot to me.
Arrived at the studio Jung Gil sing, accompanied by GEMINI, and under the approving gaze of Kim Hyun Joong a cover in Korean and his title “Before 12 O’Clock”.
We advise you to do a little experiment, something that normally is not done when watching a music video; mute the parts where he sings and try to listen with your eyes.
You will surely understand better what we wanted to explain in our previous column about Jung GIl …
DON’T FORGET
