The “private” news having gone around the planet and somewhat eclipsed yesterday’s concert, today we return to the essential: the magnificent concert offered to us by Kim Hyun Joong and his teams.
A start with 3,400 views from the first minute of the launch of the Live on Youtube to finish an hour and a half later at 12,640 views.
It was different from the 7 Prism Time concerts without a “physical” audience, during which Kim Hyun Joong was forced to dialogue with screens…and at the end of which he had become an expert in “Concert Livestream”.
Yesterday on site, the room counted with the presence of 160 happy people who had won their entries, surely also with that of some journalists, and all the teams who did a job whose technical quality and efficiency we were able to appreciate.
We do not know if the production of this concert was entrusted to the same “external” service providers as those of Prism Time or provided 100% by HENECIA’s own teams.
It was a very intimate concert, and the means employed during the 7 performances of Prism Time were not necessary here, but the teams in charge of this live did a terrific job.
Perfect timing and linking of the different sequences without a hitch, “prints” of TRANSLATED titles on live screen (except for 2 song titles; too bad), unveiling of superb background carefully chosen for very pleasant atmospheres.
Even though Kim Hyun Joong often had trouble fixing his gaze on the right camera (stop panicking on the other side of this headset!), the end result, thanks to the good communication of the cameras and their perfect coordination, varied our points of view and our pleasures.
A Kim Hyun Joong who seemed to us a little bit physically tired and perhaps anxious at first, but also, and this was the most important, a vocally super fit Kim Hyun Joong.
Not a single false note!
He not only trained to write this magnificent letter, he also had to spend days thinking this concert and rehearsing it with his teams.
A good balance between dialogues, the interaction with the people present in the room and musical tracks which are chained in a completely fluid and pleasant way.
- Paradise ,
- Your Story (another superb new version),
- Prism Time ,
- Why,
- Life without you
- Greenlight
- Lucky Guy (a new version that we had already heard during a Prism Time performance, rearranged in a style of an unseen modernity that we love)
- Bark Matic (unleashed and indomitable version)
- Waiting (2005 song – it was a magnificent moment – almost a capella – only accompanied by KHJ’s and Eun Chong’s guitars)
- Words I have to say
- Smile In Wine
- A Bell Of Blessing (with a few more new arrangements, to end on a high note. A little gem!)
The Gemini group was half absent but the remaining members came through perfectly.
We missed Park Joon-hyung who was absent due to illness and who we wish a prompt recovery, and Bitna due to childbirth, whom we hope was finally able to return home to join her husband and her little baby.
They were ‘replaced’ brilliantly, on the guitar side by a very fit Eun Chong, and on the keyboard by Hyun Joong’s (very beautiful and talented) piano teacher, who took over the interim perfectly.
We’ve already said it here, this Gemini Band and Kim Hyun Joong’s entourage are so used to working together and their mutual understanding seems so perfect that even the occurrence of a last minute problem will never prevent them from working together and ensure a perfect service.
A winning team of pros who always find the solution to the unexpected! Bravo!
