Kim Hyun Joong confided how painting can have a “  therapeutic ” effect on him,

We understand that the writing of his last album MY SUN also had the same effect.
It helped him turn a page, talk about more or less delicate subjects and allowed some very personal stories to come out of him.

It’s no longer a secret since the latest Instagram posts this week, Kim Hyun Joong was filming a series which will have several filming locations; the first of which was Jeongseon [Gangwon-do area].

Does playing a character  also stir things up in him?

Not all roles make an actor “bring out his guts”, but unless you want to collect fees and chain three uninteresting films per year, the fact of waiting so many years to say yes must mean that the scenario that he was given probably touched him in one way or another.

It doesn’t seem to us that Kim Hyun Joong is the type to agree to do things to please his audience without a minimum of thought.

**-**

We have so many questions, most of which will remain unanswered as usual…

1/ Once he has agreed to participate in a film, what does he think before starting to shoot?

2/ What does he think during filming?
Is he disappointed by the outcome of his expectations or pleasantly surprised?

3/ What is his way of preparing to take on a role, his “acting method”?

4/ What is he like during the preparation period for a shoot:
Intractable? Susceptible?
Formally prohibiting those around him from entering “his creative space”?
Formally forbidding those around him from entering “his personnal space”?

5/ Kim Hyun Joong, the sweet little angel to whom some fans like to compare him…
Does transforming into a villain embarrass him?

6/ Does he let himself be overwhelmed by his character to the point of having difficulty letting go,
or does he manage to find himself easily between each scene?

7/ At the end of a shoot, how long does it take him to get rid of the character he’s been in for weeks?

8/ Is he surprised by what he has created?

9/ As an artist, does he feel invested with any responsibility towards his audience in relation to the characters he embodies?

10/ Is he the type of perfectionist actor to the point of doing his own stunts or learning a foreign language when he can easily be dubbed?

11/ Does he have the amplitude to adapt his role?

12/ Does he even dare to give his opinion on what he should play?

13/Do the director accept his opinion?

14/ Like an album that has been listened to dozens of times before being released to the public and that a musician probably no longer wants to listen to once it is released, does he wants,  after weeks of filming,   watch all the episodes of his series?

15/ After investing in a role, does he have a post-period of melancholy?
Can he easily move on to something else?

16/ After giving life to a character, the time comes to get rid of it.
Which is easier? Give him life or kill him?

17/ Does he wonder if the public will believe in the value of what he does before accepting a scenario?

18/ We hope that he has the choice between several proposals. How does he make his choice?

19/ At the end of a shoot did he ever say to himself, I shouldn’t have gotten involved in this project?

20/ Does he not fear the period necessary for the promotion of a film where he will find himself confronted with questions from a press room?

So many questions to which we will perhaps have some answers around August…

If you have any others, don’t hesitate to leave them in the comments.
