On this 20th anniversary of his debut, a moving message from Kim Hyun Joong posted today.
We’re not going to lie and say we’ve been waiting 20 years for him, because we’ve only known him since 2020.
But the tenor of messages like this one are a perfect example of why we’re still here 5 years later, and make us think that maybe, who knows, we’ll still be here in fifteen years’ time.
Gifted, sensitive, down-to-earth, kind, grateful, funny, loyal to his friendships and, lately, very often nostalgic for the passing of time, perhaps one of the reasons why, at the age of 39, he wanted to set himself a challenge, and organize this FIVE_O_ONE get-together with his former colleagues from the SS501 group.
We’ll get to know his reasons, bit by bit, as he promises to share with us the words he’s kept to himself for a long time.

As time has passed and I now celebrate the 20th anniversary of my debut, I remember that pure heart and passion, hoping to bring joy and laughter to the fans who have waited so long.

Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to the members who feel like family, the band, and my work colleagues.
