The fourth message from ATOM MUSIC HEART, following the concert on May 14, is that of Hun Joe and he is still as inspired… and a little tortured, it must be said.

Hun Joe always asks himself too many questions and they very often take us by surprise.

Since we met ATOM MUSIC HEART, and even before knowing who wrote the messages that came to us by email during confinement, we always wondered who was the author of all this thoughts.

We have always found him touching because he tries to put words to his ills, and seems to be in a permanent quest to belong to a specific world.

Can we afford to tell him that he is not alone?

That every human being spends half his life seeking the point of balance between Being and Appearing.

… and that in the end it doesn’t matter if you can’t perfectly fit  into all boxes.

When I’m off the stage, I tried to live like one of the tangerines.

I strive to blend in with boxful of tangerines.

I pretend not to know things.

If there’s something I don’t know, I pretend to know at least little bit about it.

That’s my method to be out of people’s sights.

That is how I can survive.

But on stage, I must become extraordinary, something like melon.

Look at me! Listen to what I have to say!

The attitude must change.

The difference between tangerine and melon is gigantic, thus after each stages, it’s quite difficult to find the balance.

When I try to come back to be a tangerine, I feel like I am not welcome to their group either.

This endless emptiness after each concert is something I need to overcome.

I guess many people will feel the same way.

Some of us must live with another ego out in the world, different from the one we are in our bedrooms.

What can I say, rules must be obeyed.

For now, I am just thankful that the concert was done alright.

And for the people who supported our music.

Thank you. Really.

Sincerely, AMH HJ [Hun Joe]
