We don’t want to rejoice in the misfortune of others, and we’re really sorry for SUHO (ex-member of EXO) fans who are seeing their concerts cancelled a week before their scheduled date, but why does Europe seem so complicated to program for some Korean concert organizers?
According to SM Entertainment KR’s press release, it’s the “local organizer’s fault” Twisted Talent who noted “safety problems for the artist and the audience”.
In Paris, the concert was to be held at L’Olympia a legendary concert hall where we would have loved to see a Kim Hyun Joong concert one day.
The Olympia’s cancellation announcement includes a press release from the concert’s French representative VERYGROUP and the reasons given by the latter are “technical problems beyond our control”.
We don’t think Olympia has safety problems for the artists who perform there every day, so the worry must lie elsewhere.
All those agents, promoters, representatives and intermediaries involved in organizing a concert don’t seem to be amateurs.
The safety of a concert is only checked a week before it is scheduled to take place?
At least Kim Hyun Joong’s European tour has never been officially announced, making an artist and his agency look less like someone who hasn’t mastered the organization of a tour, because for SUHO all tickets will now have to be reimbursed, and a cancellation, even if it’s for reasons beyond his control, always tarnishes an artist’s reputation.
In the words of one SUHO fan crossed on a network:
“Today, the European tour has been cancelled.
But the dream goes on.
One day, this dream will come true”
.
That’s the motto of the disappointed fans’ club.
Welcome to the club.
