To celebrate the 11th anniversary of what marked the beginning of Kim Hyun Joong’s solo career, here is a translated extract of the meeting with fans ‘GOODBYE YOON JI HOO” on 31 March 2009 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.

Back then, after the success of the series Boys Over Flowers and a change of representation agency, Kim Hyun Joong progressively quit the group SS501 and began a solo career.

The extract is called GOMAPDA (THANKS).
He still sings it but very rarely. During his INNER CORE tour in 2017 in Nagoya in Japan, he told the public that this song was the song that he would still like to sing when he will be an old man.

He notably sang it during his first “Anemone Fan Meeting” when he came back from the army in April 2017.

He delivered this message to fans present after he’d sung this song:

« I hope you have felt the degree of my profound gratitude…
I always feel awkward saying these kinds of things … that’s my problem, there are some words I can’t express …
I must be more honest from now on, try harder to do it…

I should have said sweet words to you from time to time… but this feelings are embarrassing for me…
Now I can say it …I‘ll do it

I’ll be your partner in life as a singer and actor until the end … »

“Jugeodo eeson nohji anhgil gidohae

Sesang kkeut kkaji hamkke georeogagil yaksokhae…

Komawoyo nae gyeote neomulleo jwoso…”
