Are you one of those people who, on their birthday, turns off the phone and goes AWOL in order to be forgotten?

Not because you’re in the throes of a new year’s depression, but just so that those around you don’t feel obliged to wish you “Happy Birthday” all day long.

If this sounds like you, imagine someone who, on his birthday, in addition to multiple messages on his phone and social networks, sees his face plastered on giant screens all over the world, who finds himself having to build a new wine cellar in his house, and who is seriously wondering whether to schedule liposuction sessions for his staff.
All because of the dozens of bottles, snacks and kilos of sweets delivered to the office door over the course of a week.

We’re so happy to wish him a Happy Birthday and give him a little present that we don’t think enough about the harmful consequences of our actions. 😌

Well, this year is the 39th.
Looking at recent photos, we realize that life is very unfair, and that time doesn’t pass equally for everyone.

Have you looked at any photos of the handsome blond lately?

Never been attracted to blonds, but we really don’t know what to say here…. 😋
(😈 and yet, to nail their beaks, you have to get up early.)

In short, if you’ve forgotten to wish Kim Hyun Joong a Happy Birthday, there’s still time.
You have the excuse of the time difference, it’s still June 6 on this side of the planet.

If you’d like to take part in a “gift”, it’s not too late either.

We’ll give you an idea.
There’s a funding pot up for the 20th Anniversary of the newly christened ex-group FIVE O ONE.

You didn’t know Kim Hyun Joong 20 years ago?
It doesn’t matter, it’s all about supporting Kim Hyun Joong and his agency Henecia at the next two FIVE O ONE concerts in Seoul.

On the other hand, if you were there 20 years ago but prefer to rewrite the history of the world and argue about old grievances on social networks, you’ve got options too.

The possibility of making donations has been opened up for foreigners, and we can now send a donation via Paypal.
A minimum of 5.01 USD is required. Isn’t that a cute idea?

As with all collaborative funds, a donation cap (which we don’t know) is set at the outset, and for the moment it seems that around 70% of the sum has already been reached.

It would also appear that this action has been set up by the organizers of the Seoul concerts, with the backing of the Henecia Agency (whose confirmation we’ve been waiting for in vain, but it’s not surprising, since lately our emergencies aren’t necessarily theirs).

So we’ll assume that if it were an impostor asking us for money, they’d have come forward by now, wouldn’t they?
What’s more, our 5.01 USD won’t buy an impostor a first-class flight around the world.

So, if you’d like to take part in what appears to be a fund-raising campaign to help with posters and the rental of a “Food Truck” at the entrance to the two concerts, we’ll leave you the details at the bottom of the page.

Before leaving you for this long weekend, we’d like to warn you that next year, the 40th, we can’t be counted on to participate in the anniversary gift, as it’s out of our means.

You don’t know what it will be?

The Porch and the Rolex, of course, because they’re said to be the perfect outfit for any guy going through his 40s, a sort of mid-life crisis!

Have a nice weekend! 💜

Updated following a request for clarification

This is a donation set up by a group of fans.

In Korea, the parking of an advertising truck offering food and drinks at the entrance to an artist’s concert is subject to the agreement of the agency and the concert organizers, hence the initial mention “in collaboration with the agency”.

For the record, offering the presence of a “Food Truck” in Korea is a gift widely used in the entertainment industry, as a means of supporting artists (some of whom take the time to have their photo taken in front of it – if their agency allows them to do so).
