We like to make you discover or re-discover other Korean or of Korean origin artists, and Kim Hyun Joong will certainly not blame us if we share from time to time this space which is in principle entirely dedicated to him, with a few others of his compatriots.
All the more so this one is an exceptional guitarist, and for someone who is a fan of the famous Japanese composer and guitarist Kotaro Oshio like KHJ, the one that we present to you today would certainly please him as much.
Here is someone that we discovered a short time ago thanks to the internet and he will perform on Wednesday December 1 and Thursday December 2, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., at the Korean Cultural Center in Paris.
We would like to point out that entry IS FREE – the event is offered FREE OF CHARGE .

For those who do not already know him, here is the Belgian-Korean musician (he was adopted as a child by a Belgian couple) DENIS SUNGHO.
His specialty is classical guitar and he is also an author, composer and producer.
He has performed on the biggest stages in the world: Gebouw Concert in Amsterdam, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Lugano’s Festival, Musik’Triennalein from Cologne… and he even collaborated with Insooni , a Korean pop icon.
During his next Parisian concert he will play works from the classical repertoire of Albeniz and Satie, more modern music from films like Old Boy or Parasite, tangos by Piazzolla, as well as works of his composition.
The concert is titled ” Island ” as the name of his album that we recommend you listen to.
An island, meeting point of its European influences and its Korean heart.
