Right. Years go by and times like Christmas always bring back memories of childhood and family that he doesn’t seem able to “build” for the moment like any “normal” man.
I wish him a happy life in 2021.
Memories to cherish that maybe someone won’t allow him to build, but that we won’t know, and after all it’s not really our business, we can only assume and empathize.
As it is so well said the heart does not forget, and the bonds of blood are strong enough to find solutions between intelligent and reasonable people.

Yes, I like this site a lot too particularly with its French humor which is a unique departure from all the syrupy accolades typical of fan sites. But KHJ still needs to decide what he wants most, i.e., a) re-gain the status of a Kpop idol/actor at the peak of his career, or b) content to be a serious solo musician globally….Sometimes I think his extraordinary handsome/attractive/engaging face is actually hurting his music career… Your opinion?
About the look:
Personally I think he is trying with his new image to reach a younger clientele.
He already has to find a look he likes and stop at it, because although it’s fun to see all these changes, we end up losing him “image” side I mean.
As for the voice :
As long as he wants to compose and sing I don’t care what he looks like even if obviously it is more pleasant to see a pretty face.
We must let him benefit a little from this “renewal”; he will understand with age that it is not only the image that counts. Opinion of a grandmother fan of KHJ

I have been an Italian HyunJoong fan for 9 years.
The « culture of the image » of certain continents will always leave me perplexed.
Grace I totally agree with you, we just have to look at the image at the top of this page to realize that there is a huge gap between the lyrics of the songs on his albums and the image resembling to a teenager he gave us recently.
So maybe it is indeed, as Lydia says, « marketing » in order to attract younger fans but there is something very strange that will not necessarily work abroad.
I don’t think we should complain about all of his image changes. I see a positive side, it allows fans to renew the “stock” and stop a bit nostalgically posting images from 10 years ago.
I am honest and I admit that I prefer the image of Kim Hyun-joong now, rather than the one given during The Symphony which was not at all to his advantage.
His stylist decked him out in a costume that made him look like someone 45 (I have no problem with this age as I approach).
It would be really very interesting to know how the “new” Kim Hyun-joong and his album are perceived in his country because after all there is where all must start. Maybe what we find a little “offbeat” suits them perfectly.
